Recent exposure to medical procedure
Recently I have had Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from my nose, I now have a skin graft in the spot that it resided. The process was relativley painless after the local was applied, the repair was even more painless, as I can’t remember anything past being rolled into the operating room. The most important thing I can say to anyone who thinks they may have a spot or has spent more than an hour in the sun since you were born is to see a Dermatologist on a regular basis. I have at least one probably two more spots that will need to be removed and those will be taken care of in the next few months. I am just glad to have the cancer removed and the skin graft is doing well thanks to the doctor I had. I would just like to thank the people that helped me with this, Dr. Singher, for the biopsy, Dr. Postin for the council, Dr. Sedrak for the removal after Dr.Postin called out sick, and Dr. Pownell, for the repair, and all the nurses that worked with the good doctors to keep me calm and worry free.
And I don’t want anyone to worry about it, I will NOT be posting pictures of the before or the after, because I know how much I hate seing medical photos.
